This weekend I got my 200X nice and dirty, I mean real dirty, so dirty the top of my helmet is covered in mud...I cleaned off all of the big peices but theres still mud there...I know I should not of let it dry but Im willing to clean it thouroughly (spelling on that word)...Can I just take the trike out of my garage and spray it with water or are there components (electrical or mechanical) that I have to cover up/remove/ tend to before I can spray it?...Ive never washed my trike and dont know what the deal is,,,I jsut though Id ask here first before I screw something up on my trike...Thanks guys!

you can spray it down with water but after you are done spray all the bearings and any other moving part with WD-40. its a water repelant and it will displace the water you just sprayed on it

LOL, it's ok to powerwash it, just don't put her on full power and piont the nozzle straight at the sticker to "see what happens". hahahaha

Hey, btw, you got any pics of your dirty 200x? :naughty:

id like to powerwash my machine and blow the stickers off it. id like to find a set of new stickers for mine anyway, mine are all peeling. i also get an accumulation of some sort of grease or oil on the top of my crankcase, any reason that would be their, i cant just wipe it off it needs powerwashing. (not to rob the thread)

if you have any rust in our tank at all dont powerwash it...i did to mine and i didnt think the rust was that bad..well..as soon as i was loadin it back into the truck i smeel gas..im like wtf..it was off..well i see gas that i just put in pouring out the bottom of the tank from a little needle hole...well needless to say gas was 2.30 a gallon at the time and i was pissed..got all the dirt grease and grime off but a gas leak..that aint right..i hurried to my friends house to grab a gas can..i aint tryin to steal your thread....im just sayin dont powerwash your tank if you have rust in it..even itf you think it aint much..it usually is in the bottom
