I did some riding this weekend with a friend that rides a 400EX thats pretty modded, among other things 440cc, custom axis shocks with +2 roll design front end and swingarm. We went out onto the track and we swapped rides for a few laps... 4 wheels takes some getting used to! Its kinda scary how fast you can go around a corner with something like that ('course I'm not used to riding anything with that much power).
I watched my friend go around on my 250SX and while its no racer, he made it look pretty good. When he came back in he commented on how he's forgotten what 3 wheels were like (he grew up on 3wheelers and dirtbikes.. in fact his last 3wheeler was a 200X but ever since 4 wheelers appeared he's been riding one. Hes owned a TRX250R and currently has a hybrid CRF450).
He said that riding a 3wheeler makes him really respect the guys that raced them competitively in the old days .... Couldnt have said it better myself. :w00t:
