Reading around the net, I keep hearing about these valves.. And I have seen it in alot of peoples "mod" list... But I cannot seem to find any titanium VALVES for it. I've checked webcam, powroll, whitebrothers, DK, rmatv, etc.
Are they real, Or are these people just misinformed?

Yes, and so does Powroll. Thats not the question.
I am thinking maybe people just confused the valves with the retainers..

What's the advantage of titanium valves anyway or why do you want them? The CRF450 has them but the quad didn't get them.

they are light making use of light spring and high rpm's and wont brake when you turn the stem diamiter down behind the head for better flow!! the get enoght flow as ported heads do with out the port work but not cheap. check with a valve maker like (cant think of the one i wanted to give you) sorry!!

The titaneim intake valves on the CRF 450 and 250 are troublesome. Not on every single one but that is by far the most troblesome thing on them.
Ones that do have trouble (including me) are going back to the stainless steel jobs. They lose there clearence (down to 0 on some) then you must take apart and reshim.
The 250's are even worse because it's a higer revving machine.
Probbly 1000's out there with the problem and then some get 100-150 hours out of the stock ones.........figure that out? :wondering
Yamaha has them too but doesn't have a problem.
Thats the biggest issue ever brought up with them to the point it gets sickning hearing about it. Yet it's the top motoxer 3 years in a row!

funny, my 03 motor in my quad doesn't have that problem. It was just rebuilt, ported and a 500cc kit installed. My mechanic said they were perfect.

A sodium filled stem would help dissapate the heat better

see if kibble white makes any, I don't guess they are titanium, but the only titanium ones I see anywhere are for the newer bikes.
