first of all I have to admit I know nothing...Second I really need to know if its a 4 stroke? I belive it is due to sound and what not...
I have heard these things can float? is this true? I beelive itas a 1985 and I got it for $165 is that good?
It seems to dog out and stall if I run the throttle too high?
Thanks for the info.

PS, I have ridden cycle for 6 years so I know a little about bikes...

yeah its four stroke. it will float without anyone on it. that price sounds good if it runs and is in fair shape.

It runs but the gears seem to have some issues? They seem to not always go into gear and sometimes while in gear it slips to netural.
It makes a knocking sound sometimes in LOW gear?
The biggest issue seems to be that when i give it throttle it wants to dye out if its too much. if i start slow it seems fine.
any idea? :Bounce

Yes the choke is off....there is an arrow and another symbol by the choke. The arrow i assumed meant the choke was on? so i have it at the other symbol while running.

ok, So I am not the brightest..I was running it with the choke on!!!
Go Figure,,,
So now it seems to not want to stay running? It just kinda idles out and dies without the gas on...Maybe it is just ideling to low..

without the gas on? TURN IT ON when you want to run it.
yeah try adjusting the idle. turn it right to increase, left to decrease.

i think he ment with his thumb on the throttel....try giving the idle screw in a half turn on so untill it idels......its the screw to the left on the carb turn it in for high idle turn it out for lower idle, the other screw on the carb thats too the right is the air/fuel screw
as for the slipping in gear part, on the right side of the motor(sitting on the trike) there is a 14mm nut righ in the middle of the case's there and it looks like there is a slot screw head in it, while the trike is idling loosen off the 14mm nut and turn the slot in till you feel resistance then back it off a bit and tighten up the nut and that should help...if not could be time for clutch plates

thanks guys ill check it out!!!
I live on a 65 acre farm so its nice to have something to ride!!!
Is the 110 considered under powered? To be honest I am 200lbs and it seem to have some good pick up in high gear.
i wouldnt call them underpowerd.....smaller but fun! and they do great in the mud/snow with a big set of ballon tires on them.....when i had my 90(basicly same thing) i could out mud my buddies on ther 200s's

I have a 110 and seems to move my 200+ butt around ok.
I think someone told me it has a whopping 6 horsepower but after riding the 185 os 200 it seems to be a slug but that it comparing apples to oranges.
Pick up on the 110 seems to takes time to "wind up" after the throttle is opened.
I am going to get a cobra exhaust soon to see if that helps.
But primary purpose I got 110 for was for my kids and when you get a 90 pound kid on there, seems to move quite well. My kids don't get out of second gear.

Use the search feature at the top of this forum as it sounds like you need to adjust your auto clutch. If its jumping out of different gears all the time, auto clutch needs adjusting, If its just one gear it could be a bent shifting fork.

hi welcome too the boards! I would run the trike in the high gear most of the time lo is maybe if your hauling a wagon or trailor etc... sounds like your carb needs too be cleaned or it may be sucking air if the idle pulsates like you say. well again welcome
