1985 klt 160 carb questions

My brother in law just picked one up in beautiful shape only problem with it"also the reason they sold it" is the idle hangs up on it, i figured out why in like 5 mins lol some tryed to screw the pilot screw all the way in and it bent and dug a hole in the slide.........kawi wants 80 bucks for just a slide :wondering

so heres my question will a 1995 suzuki lt 160 carb slide work in the kawi?

or will the entire 1995 suzuki lt 160 work on the kawi?

also if i used a dremel to smooth out the slide where the groove is dug it would prolly mess up the idle worse right because it would change how far in the pilot screw goes in.

I have a slide for a 160. I got an extra one from a 185 4-wheeler and it works fine. I could probabky mail it to you for like 10$>
