Question.... I don't fell like taking my front fork protectors off to check, nor drive down to the farm.....

I know the 86 350X front hubs have "HA5" cast into the spokes.... do you know if the 85 350X ones do?

I know the 85's are like a gun metal grey and the 86's are originally black and they have those little "braces" on two of the wheel mounting studs. I'm wondering if they only put the HA5 on the 86 since it was black, and could be mistaken for a 200X one.

I found a 85 350X rim on the 200X roller I'm parting out. The hub looks the same color as my 85 350X, but doesn't have the 'HA5" molded into the spokes like the 86 does.... I'm trading the front rim and tire to someone, and need to trade a 350X front hub too... hopefully, this is a 350X hub so I won't have to tear apart my running 350X to get a 85 hub!

I looked at my 350X and did not see HA5 stamped on it.

Don't worry tho, the distance from one bolt across to another on the 200x hub is 7 1/2 inches, I know the 350X is not 7 1/2, it's 7 inches I think.

So, if your hub is not 7 1/2 inches across, it's not a 200x.

Hmmm.... I was pretty sure the front bolt holes were the same. I can test that easy enough... I got a 200X rim here and a 86 350X hub... will see if they match up tonight and report back.

Kevin, we still ago for tomorrow - Huffa's got to spend time with his wife...

hahhahhahaa
