I have a 1985 ATC 125m that my friend gave me he said it ran. I opened the pluse generator cover to find the plate holding the sensor only has one screw. the plate was so loose it tipped out. I was wonder if there is some way to set it? if the motor run i don't mine dumping cash into it. if some one has a manual and could scan me some pages email me a Mrhappy817@hotmail.com or please leave some info.
Thanks, Mrhappy817

Welcome to 3 Wheeler World. :welcome:
The timing it fairly simple to set. Remove the timing plug, it should be a big flat tip bolt by the pull starter. Then pull the starter over slowly and look in the little hole, stop once the "F" mark on the rotor lines up with the marking on the case. You may want to pull the spark plug out to make it easier to turn over and I usually take the pull starter off and turn the engine over with a bar wedged in the pull start pulley so that I have more control. Anyways, with the "F" mark lined up, align the sensor and the pulse generator. There should be a line on both that line up. If the generator is off 180 degrees then just turn the pull starter one turn. Then tighten the screws. You will also want to set the air gap between the generator and the sensor bit I will have to check what the measurment for that is. Good luck!
