While i was tearing down the pair of 200X engines that I have I noticed one had been rebuilt fairly recently. Well I dont guess they ever got it to run because the side cover was not on the motor. Anyhow, It had an aftermarket cam in it. The cam gear has several holes in it it instead of just the 2 for the bolts to go in, the overall cam measured out to be a little larger than the stocker from the other motor as well. Across the lobes on the stocker was .74 and the aftermarket is .76 (using a micromiter). I dont know who all made cams for these things so I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas. I am sure that is a small cam as the engine apears to still have the stock valve springs inside.

That motor still looks the same as a new XR200 motor. I'm sure any cams for the XR200 will work on the 200X. Anyone know for sure?

I know you could buy just the sprocket with holes in it. I belive it was for adjusting the cam timing.
