Hey guys
Ive got a nice condition atc 200s (1982)-and as a winter project im doing a restoration,i dont like the huge fat front wheel, and i had a idea of using a complete dirtbike front end(obviously would have to modify it to fit-but thats no problem)
Whats your opinion guys?? :beer

It might work but it would make the front end sit up really high. I don't like that look.

Ive seen it done to a 200 and a 110 and it sucked all they do is wheelie and they dont turn at all. Trust me its not that good of an idea. Looked kinda cool though.

You could move the forks up in the triples but over all that is going to be a pain to make dirt bike forks work . If I was you I would find a 200s suspension front end. Honda started to put suspension on the front in 1983 I believe.

Kills the front to back weight ratio, and just plain WILL NOT TURN!

Dumb idea. I say leave the 200 as it's intended to be.

If you really want to change the front end, put a 200x assembly on.
