The head on my klt160 is squeeling. I took the cam chain cover off and there was plenty of oil in the head. Is there a berring on the cam that could be bad?

A leaking head gasket can cause a squeal too.
you cam chain could be too tight casing it to make a whuuuring kinda noise when it is reved up......you could also have some crap stuck in your cam journals or something too..

Sounds like cam/cambearing. I had one do the same thing. I had to get a new cam, and a used head. $$$$

ok nothing on here sounds like a small job, this is my project bike that I paid 75$ for. I replaced the cam chain about a month ago. Is there no way to just replace the cam berrings.?
OH! i just thought of this........make sure the cam is pushed ALL the way into the head, or it could rub on the plate/cover infront of it if there are marks on the back of the plate/cover then you know its not far enough in.

ok what playte do * man though, the cam chain one
not sure on this specific bike but, do you know how to get to your cam? in the head there ther should be like a cover that covers the end of the cam with like an oil seal that screws into the head over the cam......that plate...kinda hard to explain
