Air Stryker Question

What would work better a 38mm or a 36mm Stryker for an R thats Ported and only has a .10 over bore?? I was told the 38 would make it sluggish..Anybody?

If what you listed is the extent of the modifications you plan on doing the 36mm will work fine, but if you plan on going more extreme with things go for the 38mm and jet it down accordingly until you need the full amount of fuel and flow the 38mm will provide.

.10 bore,rad valve,ported and polished,Pt highrev and fatboy silincer,K&N filter with no box,CR head gasket and running 112 race gas with Hp2 running 40-1...Now can will the 36 still be ok? :)

With the mods you've listed, you could safely go either way on the carbs, but I think most guys with those mods opt for the 38mm rather than the 36. I ran a 36mm flatslide with the same basic mods for years and only went to the 38 when I upgraded to the 310cc kit.

go with the the 38mm,i was told it will hurt low end but i didn't have that problem.we have close to the same mods so a quick run down on my jetting,you will have to compensate for your climate,elevation,etc.but maybe this willget you close:

main:178(30-below) 172(30-above)
pilot:55 " " 52" "
slide cut out #6
stock needle

remeber there is still alot of varibles to consider,and this will not be totally accurate,but it may help
