Swing arm bolt alternatives

Does anyone know if there is another type of swing arm bolt that will fit in a 200X? Like a 250R, 350X? Im curiouse because ive been checking ebay and they seem kinda of hard to find and when they are on there they are expensive.

I am assuming these are discontinued. Not sure about compatibility. How much is expensive and how much cheaper could the other models be. Just curious.

a 86 200x swingarm bolt is still available, as I'm sure 83-85 is. I know all the bushing and such for the 86 are still available too.

Unless you find a cheap one somewhere, don't plan on using one from a 250R (not sure it would fit anyway) as mine cost $50 new from the dealer over 5 years ago.

Well right now im on a budget because i want to rebuild the motor with some perfromance parts. So im kind of looking for somethin no higher than 30 bucks.

For $30 or less good luck and please get me one too. I paid $50 for a used one. new is like $70 from what remember. That bolt needs to be serviced periodically so it won't freeze up...I need to do mine soon. check with Service Honda if they can get it.

The 83-85 200X is not compatable with the others due to the design of the chain tension adjusters for the 83-85 200X.

$60.78 on www.bikebandit.com. I guess I lucked out I got a used one with the adjusters for $15.

Wow you would think for a bolt it wouldnt be so expenseve! The owners who had the 200X before me never checked the bolt so it is frozen and we are debating about cutting it off and getting another one but i dont know the motor is number 1 on the priority list.

I had to cut through mine to replace the swingarm bearings. Pounding it out only resulted in a mushroomed bolt. Real pain in the arse!
