I have 3 200x swingarms.. 2 that are "trash" because the bearing area is stretched ... does this happen to them all?.. anyone know how to fix it?
Is it common??! Let me know
what do you mean the bearing area is "streatched" if the race's are warn im shure a good welder/machinest could strighten them out

Definitly is a weak point. I know exactly what you are referring to.
The slots in the rear that pinch the outer housing tight on the chain adjustment cam -bearing assembly, get expanded or explode under more extreme conditions.
I had just this happen to my R side on my 250X 4 wheeler. It is basically the same swingarm or identical. Took it off and had it welded up to stronger then new.
While the chain adjustment system is great, having those slots in the rear must weaken it up for sure. Under normal use they are fine but if you motx it like i did thats when the "problem" will show up.
Oops, you have the 83-85 model. I was referring to 86 & 87. The situation might be somewhat simular to what I am referring to though. Yours doesn't have the slots though.

replace the bearings at regular intervals and it should last forever
