Here it is...
I don't really know much about it. I THINK it's Hondaline, but if some one from Canada or the UK or Aussie land has some pics of their's I would like to see them to compare it to mine. ;)
If some one needs more pics for any reason just ask ;)

Hey that's pretty cool Phil. I thought that's where it was probably mounted on the big red since there is a horn mounted there in the '88 Big Red brochure that I've seen. Pretty cool man....definitely unique to have that.

Hey Mate.
That is not hondaline. No Offence. I have seen those horns for sale at my local motorbike shop and you can tell that it has been added due to the wiring. Mine is the hondaline one, it looks the same as the one on the 88' bigred brochure.
Either way the horn is a great addition.

Well, as sad as I am to hear that, thanks for letting me know. Now I won't be as afraid to brake it in a rollover. :D

Do I assume right that the Big Red's has wires built in to the harness for horn use then?
If not, how did you wire it?
I was thinking of putting one on my SX eventually but not sure how to wire it in?
You have over 5000 miles on th BR............ WOW !!!!! that's alot of riding! .........or was that off another machine with miles on it already?

Hey Huffa, I'll check out the wirering tomorrow and report back.
And yes, the speedo was installed on the trike when the last owner bought it. ;) He did use it on the road though so that got the mileage up... When we bought it i think it had 3000 on it (a few years ago)

Sorry to bust ya bubble mate. Just wanted to let ya know. The wiring on my bigred (from the 87) had the horn wires built in. The original harness (85) had no spot for the horn. There are other little diffrences on the harness between the years. Like fuses, convenience outlet at the rear of the trike on the 87 etc.
It would not be hard to wire up a horn on a 250es though. You woudl just use the powerwires and splice it out and use a suitable handlebar bracket button. Piece of Cake.
