'82 R Pipe Silencer [Archive]

Has anybody had any experience with aftermarket pipes and silencers for an '82 ATC 250R? Are there any companies besides DG that make either one? Thanks for any info.

I bought a brand new pipe and silencer for an 81/82 R off ebay for $26! It was a Kerker, looked pretty nice. I didn't have anything to put it on and I sold it for a nice profit.

Other than DG - nobody currently makes one. However, I have seen Models made by Kerker as mentioned, as well as Bassani and Bills. Bassani seems to be the second most numerous. I do know however that Dyno-port will make a pipe and silencer for just about anything, as long as you are willing to part with at least the motor for a while. They would prefer to have the whole bike though.
