tri z spark again

still nothing. used coil off a running 86 Z plugged it all in got a faint (in the dayilight) blue spark, then it stopped. There IS power coming from the stator, and also from the black and white wire out of the CDI box, but not out of the orange one that goes to the coil! Im getting really frustrated with this thing. What now? New CDI box?? I just want to get a spark and then finish the dam thing!

are you sure your WIRES are good? you can have all good parts and a bad wire, and it'll drive you crazy all day. thats whats wrong with my dash in my cutlass,it's all elec and there's a bad wire, sometimes my dash doesnt work, sometimes it says 188kmh, and sometimes it works. go figure
