:wondering hey, i amkind of new at this, but i was wondering a couple of things, first, what kind of oil is best for a honda atc200E 83'? i bought some type of oil, and it, is now runny, and broken down real bad, and i just put it in there. also, anyone have any idea where i'd get a replacement gas tank, for pretty cheap, i'd like to have a plastic one. anyway, let me know. post a reply, or email me a message, at jasonpier28@msn.com
thanks

I use Honda GN4 10-40 in my trikes. It has no "friction modifiers" in it, so you won't end up with clutch troubles down the road someday. It costs a bit more, but it's better than doing a clutch job. What is the cost difference in a year.... 5 or 10 bucks maybe?

It's this simple. All bottles should have this label on
(scroll down to bottom in link)

And if it has the "energy conserving" on bottom portion like shown, Don't use it!

I'm using 15w-40 Shell Rotella T and it's good, but 5w-40 Delvac1 by Mobil would be even better.

Have you just gotten the trike ?

IF the guy before you never changed it.. you might have to flush it a few times to get the black out...... My SX took 4 changes to stay clear.

Gas tanks can be had online e-bay... or you can get a Kream kit for it and coat the inside if it's really rusty,.

I've been running .99 cent Pep Boy oil in my SX for 6 years. Never replaced either the manual or auto clutch or put rings in it either. Doesn't smoke or have shifting problems, I don't baby it and I was about 210lbs for 5 of those years.
