I'd watch ebay closely.... I snagged a brand new IMS tank for my 82R with a Buy-it-now of $59!! They come up once and awhile!

I have a large capacity tank for 83-84 250r I was going to use on my 84 but it does not have mounts for the air scoops. Not sure if its an IMS or a clark tank. It has the petcock but no cap. but the IMS cap fits it, tried it from another tank. will try to check tonight possibly get a pic of it.

Some of the 83-84R plastic tanks didn't use the "fins".... they basically used that area (well volume) for fuel and built the fins into the tank design.
