Hey i added this pipe to a fresh top-end and it seems to wanna try to drowned out taking off. I have a dial a jet and it runs awesome after i get revved up a bit. What could be the problem? And should i lean the carb to get better use of the dial a jet. I thought maybe i could drop the needle a notch to lean it up and let the dial a jet fill in the gaps for me. What you guys think?????????

yes, with the dial a jet, * are mean to go down a few main jet sizes and also lean it out a bit. there is a fairly recent thread about the dial a jet setup.

Welcome to aftermarket pipes on the Tri-Z. Most pipes are designed to increase mid to top end power. Your low end loss may just be a side effect of the pipe you used.
