Stripped 200x kicker gear

I have a 200x motor that has the kicker gear stripped and it will only catch maybe one time out of ten. First question is, does the cases have to be split to replace the kicker gear or can i just remove the right side cover? Also, does anyone have or know a place i can get a good one?

Your more than likely gonna have to split the cases. Before you do that take the small side cover off and make sure those two gears in there are lined up properly and the spacers are in there. go to the top of the forum and type in 200x kickstarter in the search box. LOTS of posts about this one.lol
