I got it off of ebay. It was supposed to fit my 84 Yamaha 225, it doesn't. Seller is giving me my $$ back but does not want parts back.

The housing isn't even close. MY wheel hub does fit on the axle but the threaded portion for axle nut is 3/4" and mine is a 1/2". It also sticks out (threaded part) at least a 1/2" more but the splines match up perfect and the width of splines & hub are spot on. The axle length is 33 & 1/4". Makes me wonder if everything else about the axle would line up too on mine and be same diameter? hmmmmm? :wondering

My axle & housing is fine & I just got as spare because the price was right.

I'll just simply resell it once I know what it fits and if I do, send the seller back his $$. He did not try to pull a fast one and thought it would fit my model.

As you can see both are in extremely nice shape.

I'm not 100% sure what it fits. But it looks like a YTM200 Yamahauler set up to me. The 200's and the 225's are different.

If that is for a 200 yamahauler, hold on to it, I might want it.

It sure looks like a Yamaha 200E (Yamahauler) to me also. The 200E uses the large hub/axle nuts like that one and I can't think of any of the 4 wheelers that do, I had an YFM200 and it used the normal size nut the DX uses.
