got the 86 forks installed on my 85 z

they look bettter than the smaller 85 model, they seem to set the front end up higher too, lets hope they perform better as well, , those caps on top on are one off "ronnie " special's, thanks to someone in marysville ca. for these ;)

Also...If you still have the 25 inch front tire I think your front end will be too high. In 86 Yamaha dropped the tire down 2 inches but added over 1 inch of travel to the forks. This brought things to somewhere around the same height as 85.
