How hot do 250R's run???

how hot should a 85 r get???? i noticed last ride it got alittle hot after 4 hours of straight riding at any where from 3/4-WOT, that right there should be a clue duhhhh! but i want to know how fast they should run?? thanks

You know whats crazy is my 85R doesnt get that hot at all. I rode it for an hr or so and then realized it wasnt running 100%, so I changed the plug out. I was able to put my hand on th cylinder and side cases by the time I got my plus and tool out of my bag. So if yours is running that hot, I would check things to make sure the rads are doing their job and such..........peace

well mine cools off fast yah but when * have it running * cant touch the cylinder or the rads the side cases are always cool

has anyone ever tried sticking a thermostat in the rad lines of a 250r from a tri-z?? so then you could have a guage.....?

I have a esr temp gauge on mine and it runs at 180 degrees
