I need one and am trying to hook up with a couple of people. Does anyone have any info on where to find a Good Extended Swinger for an 84-85 Tecate? And whats a good extension length to have for a New Totally Rebuilt Strong Ass Tecate.

Allso I have seen some Trikes with the Angled Up Footpeg Extenders on the site and I desperatly need a pair. I keep being told the ads in the back of Dirtwheels but I cant find it. Can someone give me a Company website address or anything to help me get a Pair.

It seems when the powder coater welded a crack at the Footpeg mount and it was bent lower or something, so my Peg angles down toward the ground and my foot slips off way too easy while cornering hard. I want to weld a bead on the back of the Peg where it meets the frame to level it out,and weld the extenders on allso. I need a pair of The angled Footpeg Extenders to Boost my confidence while ripping.

Ewwww Looks Like a Leg Waiting to be Run Over

My footpeg extenders on my daily rider 350X bolt on to the footpegs, not welded. I've seen ads for them in OLD Dirt Wheels, but Swinehart just got the latest issue in todays mail.... I'll have to take a peek at it!

How do they Fit? The Shape and Width of the Tecate footpegs could be different from the width of the extenders. They dont look bad but they dont look like much either. He he

Allso Mik6 I believe has a Pair that have teeth like the rest of the footpeg. Has anyone seen these around?

sharpenening the teeth on your foot pegs will also help alot with foot slippage. just a thought to save ya a little money. :welcome:

I know a compnay that makes aftermarket swingarms for the tecate. they just deal with a few individuals though becasue they make such a limited number of them, i can get any extended length

2-4" will make a difference as far as the swinger goes. My Tecate in the video I posted has a 4" extension along with 2" wheel spacers, so I dont think you will sacerfice handling by going little bigger.

Thx for the info. If I can ever find an extended swinger +2" should be good enough. I definatly need it, she reaches for the sky in 3rd all the time and scares my ass. What a big Diference a nice Exhaust System is from stock.

I know what You mean..... out riding Hungry Valley last night when all of a sudden my foot is under the axle. It happened so fast (because I was going so fast) I had to stop and figure out what happened. If I didn't have MX boots on at the time, it would've been broken for sure.

Hey Rex since I got these peg extension(but different from what they are talking about) I havent had any issues like that. My old school ones mount behind the peg and keep your foot from going backwards.
