well my friends 200x just had a whole bunch of engine work done..12:1 wiseco, ported polished, new valves and titanium springs..well it somehow bent a or both valves..and blew a head gasket..well we took it apart..replaced the gasket and fired it up..(didnt know the valve was bent) it still had no comp..which led us to believ it was bent..so we went back to my house..grabbed my 200m head and put it on there..with the 200x valve cover..the line up pretty good..also we bought a new gasket for it..then we put it back together..fire dup..ranb great for about 10 minutes..blew that gasket...my point is..it keeps blowing gaskets and we cant figure out y...anybody have a clue??

maybe a warped head? good gaskets? maybe the motor is out of square or there is head to valvetrain/head contact, i can't really give a good answer but i can give a few things to check over

.... I think your jug is slightly warped and it shows up after the motor warms up. That diesel "can" you have in there isn't helping things either. A slight warp and super high compression are to blame for your gaskets demise.

i agree with wickedfinger, warped cylinder head gasket surface, just take it off and take it to a machine shop and have them deck it flat, wouldnt hurt to take the head too to make sure its not warped too,

2 gaksets?? notta..that will blow for sure..but vartiak does have a good point..i didnt retighten them when it cooled down..matter of fact i didnt tighten them at all after i fired it up..that could be why..i never have done it with the 185...but then again..i never have had a 12:1 in one of my machines either
