Big red reverse

Just fixed my big red up that had a broken hi lo rev lever and crack sub tranny case. Now when I try to put in reverse it will sometimes go it but it will disengage and make all sorts of noises which I assume aren't good. The gears looked ok when I replaced the cover any one have any ideas?

I don't know if Stecve can afford me anymore. With all the parts I put on that bike out of my stash I have to own a good 1/4 of it by now. :D

stevo ,,, i was wondering and never did ask you how the cover got damaged to start with ??? did you get it that way ???

I bought it from mike from li that way. He got that day from someone else so I can't blame him. Not sure how the subtranny or the lever was snapped but there was some serious damage to the the case. The gears and all looked in check but I am not familiar with those parts so it could have been all messed up. Like I said before it will engage in reverse for a bit but then it starts to disengage after it moves about 5 ft. and I can hear the gears rattling until it pops out of reverse. Any help would be appreciate if I get anymore help form 200xman Im gonna have to give it to him.
