I just had a thought...I've got an old 250R front end ('83 I think) laying around somehwere with the wheel, brakes, etc. Anyone ever try to fit one of these onto a 200s? I'm just thinking out loud, and looking for opinions. Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and shouldn't think of such stupid things....but I've thought of (and done) a lot worse.

It should slide right into the stearing stem (or what ever you call it) your bike will look like a chopper tho! But you will notice a big diff in suspension.

I have seen it done before and it looks kinda goofy. It makes it sit really high in the front. It would be cool if you had rear supension so it would even it out.

I put a 200x front end on my 200s I dont know if theres a difference between 200x and 250r forks but the steering stem on a 200x is shorter so you have to weld and extension to make it fit. If I remeber I think it needs bout another 1 1/2 or 2 Inches. I can post some pics next week. It looks better to me and if you clamp it lower it drives fine.
