Ride alot of tight trails and just picked up this 84 250R, it was a liitle hairy getting around in the trails. I was wondering what you guys suggest to set it up better for trail riding. What size gears and all. But on a better note the Realator tires get around AMAZING!!

you will probably want to go up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket

I'd get rid of the realitors and go for kenda knarly's, realitors are too unpredictable and HEAVY.

The realitors seemed to do good, took the 250r through the mud pit and never got stuck once, the 400ex with me on the other hand was not so lucky. They are 22x10x9 I think, why do you say they are unpredictable?? What do the kenda's have on them? Do you think the 22" size is a good choice? Thanks

for trails 20" is a better choice, I have kenda knarly mxr's on my quad and they grip even in mud. ALot of gncc guys use kenda knarly xc's, especailly in muddy courses. I have found that realitors on a 2 stroke wander too much and when they grip, they grab and if its how you don't want them to, well you are ........screwed. Sometimes I wished I had 22" tires for trails, but I like the hanlding of 20" tires alot more. Also realitor tires are quite roundish and a flat tire slides better. I have holeshot xcr's on my 200x and I've gone throught some sick stuff with them, if I were to do it again(like I will with the 350x)its gonna be 20" knarly's xc's
