Upside down forks for a R

Ive seen a few guys out here with upside down CR forks on their R's...I was thinking about doing the same thing...I was wondering what year forks i should get and then how is the best way to install them..Any info would be great thanks!! :)

it looks like he cut the ends off and welded on different ends that fit the forks. I won't do that to my short track clamps!!!! I talked to my friend about doing this and he said that it wouldn't be a good idea to cut and weld the tripples, as you have to have everything perfectly aligned and also the new tripple wouldn't be as strong as a uncut one.
