I've seen pictures with trikes having their front forks turned around. Is there any advantages to doing this? Disadvantages?

I spun mine around on my 250SX with a 200X front end and it handled like sh!t. The longer wheelbase didn't help turning but may help someone in a straight line race.

I would imagine it will make them more stable at high speeds since the wheel base is longer. The drawback is it will not steer as good.

trailing axles make turning a little quicker, but you also can do it with a leading axle by dropping the triples down about an inch or so on the forks.

You can gain anywhere from 3-8HP gain by turning the forks around. :p

You see it on drag machines, to add rake and get that front tire out there a little further to help keep it down. Its just an easy way of extending the front end on a trike.

Or you see it on some trikes cause the owners don't know any better!
