I got a problem with mine, got stock size tires on it, but the hi/lo seems to be stuck in lo, i tryd shifting it in gear and in neutral, but nothing, shound i rip it apart when i rebuild? :TrikesOwn

You are pulling up on the knob before you try to move it aren't you? :p A friend of mine had to put his in gear and rock it back and forth sometimes to get it to change. Does the lever move but not change gears or is the lever stuck? Gives us a few more details.

on the 83, i don't think you pull up like the 84.. you just flip it over like the M.

If you are rebuilding it why wouldn't you fix it so that everything works? Besides isn't it a lot easier to do a rebuild with the engine out of the trike which would require you to remove the hi/lo case?

on the 83, i don't think you pull up like the 84.. you just flip it over like the M.
The only problem here is the 200m's didn't have hi/lo. ;)
