question about big red 250/250sx

will rearend parts from a 250 sx fit a 250 big red a gear in my big reds rear end is striped i found an old 250 sx that a lady wont sell cause it was her sons that passed away but she said i can take that part of it if it will fit mine

as long as they are the same year i do beleive they are.

I know for sure the drive shaft lengh from 85 and 86 is different. but the rear-end should bolt up !

get someone elses opinion before you buy tho !. i'm not 100 % sure.

All the rearends are the same for the BR and SX. All years. Will bolt right up.

Just be aware that the swingarm will not interchange between the 2 bikes.

ok sounds good they r the same year 85 i just didnt wanna go and take the part out and find out it wont fit mine i'm gonna look around a little more before i take it of that bike its been sitting for probably 10 years now since her sonm died rust is eating it away

Its the same same same. I had a 85SX and a 85BR and 87BR all at the same time. They are the same. Gearing and everything. The swingers and axles are different, but the rearends are the same. You could put my 87 BRs on a SX. No difference. There is only a slight difference in the SX, BR and a 4 trax. The 4 trax is a little different. But can be made to work with some mods.
