I was in to the local honda dealership and I to see if my wifes 400EX came in, which I was told "maybe tomarrow". So I looked around at the new/ and used bikes, atvs. In the same area as the showroom they have the parts counter they used to use. I started to look at the parts still in the counter and saw a early 80s 200X head light guard and a bunch of other guards and accesorys. So while I was looking I saw some gold ATV rims. My guess is 250R. Am I right? What years did they come on? He has like 4 or five new appearing pairs along with utility rims and such. I though maybe they would make good paddle tire rims for may 86 200X.
This is a old dealer ship that still uses microfish (no computers at all) So I may see if they have other stuff like a speedo and some fenders for my X. What cool accesorys could you get for a 86-87 200X that he may have laying on a shelf?

Probably a front fender extender/brace. Speedo-Tachometer... Chronometer.... Footpeg covers.... Headlight gaurd, ..... Trike cover.... about anything you can get and use! hahhaha

I'm only lacking an ATC cover to complete the collection of Hondaline Assessories for my 350X ... well, the cover and the never before seen "Multi-Function Chromometer/Hourmeter"

My uncle bought a 350 foreman from the dealer and he added what ever he could for options. It has the optional spot light, hourmeter, speedometer, and a fuel gauge (with leds). The speedometer has ATC on the face. He also has a FOREMAN cover for it. It is really Cherry with Blue plastic.

Ummmmm... ALL 250R's have gold rims.... including the 1981 and 1982 250R's! Just the 81 and 82 R rims are 2 piece rims and NOT 4/110 pattern.

Kids... ... hahhhaaa :welcome:

I am 99% sure that at least a few were 1 piece. There were a few that looked different but I figured it was a set of quad fronts. It would be bitchen to have all golds on the old X. Maybe I'll fix her up nice and give her kinda vintage racer look. Still wish I could get her to run up with the 400 but I haven't run a 400 before and been a while on the 200 so maybe a tune up and I will be happy again.

Rolled lips? ATC gold rims didn't have the rolled lip....86 TRX250R had rims that look nearly identical to today's Honda rims, but were Gold. Buy what ya can, I am sure guys here would give ya what ya paid for the stuff.
