Sold my Big Red and the 82 tonight.

So i can finally walk around in my garage now ! ( oh man that feels good. no more handle bars in the ribs everytime i need a tool !! )

Now the SX gets a bit of TLC.

I called a local ATV shop locally and tomorrow morning, unless anyone here can suggest or convince me otherwise... i'm ordering in a Kenda Front-Max 22x11x8 to replace my Mud-Devil that wants to rub on my forks... and turns like cr@p... Price: 55 $ canadian plus tax

And am calling Honda to order all the bearings and seals for the swingarm and rear end.. ALL of them. 2 x left, 2 x right wheel hum. 2 for rear axle tranny. and 2 for the swingarm + all the seals needed. Price : Alot..

Or order All Ball bearings from an aftermarket source for something like 75 $ includes seals !!...

I kinda want to go honda just because i get the piece of mind of original made by and for honda.. yadayada... you know.

And to top it all off.. a set of brake shoes for the rear drum i got from e-bay a few months ago !

The rest will pay for overdue Visa payment !... :D

The front max is a good tire choice, I run them on my bikes, on bearings Honda makes cars, atvs, mowers, boat motors,ect... not bearings, lol Just get the bearing numbers and go to a industrial supply house, save you over half. Dads over at ORG can help you out also.

Kendra is a good choice, it'll turn a lot better. Allballs is better than the stock bearings by my choice.

Hey blaze .. is that a 22 or other ? and do they " Balloon " out past the rim much ? i want to make sure it don't rub my forks again... Thanks for the pic dude ! puts things in perspective !! LOL :D

About the allballs the local ATV shop has a set for an 86 SX and he says they are the same as the 85, but i read that the 86 had 1 less bearing in the rear..... ( on my way to partsfish right now to check that out.... so they do las just as long eh ???.. cool.

Thank you for the info guys !

ok.. just got off the phone with one company for the Front-MAx 22x11x8. kind thinking i should maybe asked if they had a 22 x 10 x 8 to alow more room the rubber and forks, but as long as it clears.. i'll be good.

and as far as bearings go.

Hell.. it's got allballs in there now and they are no more than a year or so old and the swingarm pivot bearings are shot, so i'm biting the bullet.. paying my dues and getting the honda's. total $ = 350 $ for the bearings, seals, brake shoes included.. ouch.
