I came across a Honda 125 trike today in someones backyard grown up with weeds. it is just the rolling chassis (NO engine/transmission).

What I was wondering is; how hard would it be to put a 110 engine/tranny in the 125 frame?

I have 2 spare 110 engines and am going to rebuild one with a big bore kit and cam, would the engine fit?

Also I know that any engine will fit into anything if you fabricate enough but what I want it a somewhat easy installation.....I can fabricate, cut, weld and do what is neccesary though. Whats involved in this deal......Anybody know? :wondering

-OR- whats a 125 engine go for used? I'm positive I can get one from my motorcycle junk yard but what would be a fair price? (so I dont get ripped)

It depends on what year ATC125M it is - if its an '86 or higher, its a completely different - verticle cylinder motor, frame and mounts.

There is a motorcycle junkyard near me Biggrip28, when looking for parts there he told me he had "hot rod kits" for the 90's & 110's. Big bore kits & hot cams and such, I haven't actually got them yet but there there supposedly. I ran a thread a few days ago asking if they were worth installing and what kind of reliability they were known for. I don't doubt they will boost power but I don't want it at a reliability expense.
So again, If anyone knows anything about these kits I would appeciate their input.
