83 R' back together again

Finally got around to putting the new top-end in the R today. It went back together like it was never apart. I have to pick up a new throttle cable tommorrow, so I didn't get to fire it up. I decided to add a 36mm carb to it, because I felt the stocker was too small. I'll have it running and riding tommorrow and i'm glad of it. I hate having them tore down too long.

Now I have to get started on that other Tri-Z sitting in the garage.

I'll let you know Max, but I don't know if it would be a fair comparison. My bike seems to lay down way early and I honestly think it may be a carb issue. From what Brandon said, your bike doesn't seem to have any problems revving out. Did you notice a difference adding the pipe, as far as revving higher?

Dude My 84 Gets It For Aircool. The Pipe And K&n Made A Huge!!! Difference. Do It. Do It Now. I Rev The **** Out Of Mine. Just Watch Me Climb Dude. Im Full Revved In Like 2nd Gear. Do It. Do It Now. I Got My Pipe And Silencer For About 240.

Derrick this must be the year for rebuilding all your trikes. You must go through them all at once instead of having a project sitting around at all times like the rest of us. Did you go through this one like you did the last Z?

I actually rebuilt this one before the Z, but we accidently blew it up, right afterwards. So, I set it aside until I wasn't mad at it anymore.

I still have to put plastic on it, just want to make sure it stays together first!
I'm also planning on adding the pipe and some new rubber.

Here's a before and after, keep in mind I still need the new fenders.

It has a 350X on it, but i'm going to go with a 85-86 250R.

I don't have any 83-84 extra parts. I don't even know of any others that will fit. Your welcome to try the 85 shock I have. It might work.

I just have a soft spot for white trikes. This one is getting all white plastics, except for the shrouds and headlight. I want to get an 85-86 250R headlight for it eventually.
