Mymint87 all he was trying to do was show us what he built. And it does have three wheels so its a three wheeler.

well i would agree with you if thats what he said but if you read his post it says thats not a three wheeler and its not what "we" are about, go sell it some place else. he never said go post it in the classified section. so in my oppinion mymint is being anal. you dont have to agree with me. but im sure other's will agree that he was being anal. now that being said i think the project is cool as hell and would definetly be fun to ride. just not off road. its kinda like a poor mans t-rex

I dont think he "ruined" a perfectly good street bike. He just modified it. As for as i know they arent going to quit making street bikes anytime soon so why not do what he did? Looks Great!

I think its time for someone to grow up. :naughty:

That thing is cool and the builder is cool. I allso remember here in NY thats how you got to roll if you want to ride it on the road. Either that or a gay honda road bike trike, or a home made vw trike. I would hate to hear what you got to say about everyones custom rides at Glamis, Pismo, or Any other killer duneatic spot.

I say throw the Fatest Knobby on the rear and hit up the Sand Drags, or show it off with all the other Duneatics.

Just imagine all the people who said three wheelers were ugly, stupid , and unworthy of trading in their dirtbikes back in the 70's.

Lucky for us people had open minds and now we got trikes to ride. :w00t:

If you don't got nothin good to say.. well you know the rest.

I think he did a good job. hard work went into that, might not be everyone's idea of an ATC, but it's not .. it's a custom piece of work. I can't imagine the feeling of putting that much work on something and being slammed. Come on guys, lighten up.

That would be useless in mud, but on the pavement i bet it flies !!

im with mymint 87 its more of a bike than a trike. i think of trikes as being more offroad, than just street machines. but the craftsmanship is great, it looks like it will burn em for hours.

Very good fabrication, that's not bubbatech. I'll bet every chick in the state would want to ride on the back. Good job.

hey do you have progress pics? it would be cool to see them. i think that we should all look beyond the classification of the bike and appeciate the workmanship and imagination it took to put that together. i think it would have been better accepted if the rear would have two wheels and left the front stock. this design looks more stable goin downhill at an angle.

Its a cool idea but ugly as hell

Dang, MyMint, let us know how you *really* feel ! LOL

I like the construction, very nice craftsmanship, Kudos seney2 !

It's funny, though in that it takes the least valuable aspects of each type of machine, i.e. the poor traction of the street bike with the unsprung weight of the quads' front end.

It looks like it would look really cool doing a wheelie at like 80 mph, then you could steer using the tires like rudders.

Or, you could make a fat swingarm and put a 11x18" tire on the rear.........

Good Job!

03-19-2005, 10:07 PM
i bet it would be fun with a huge sand tire on the rear, and skis on the front.....man all this snow up here is gettin to me!! btw..GOOD JOB, anybody who can fabricate something and make it look professional, as well as work deserves a thumbs up!

OldSchoolin86

I like it because it took some skill to make it and it looks to have been build right but I highly doubt you'd go anywhere in sand or snow with it. Your pushing way too much weight on the front with that narrow rear tire. I doubt it's any good for wheelies either but as said before, I bet it's a chick magnet.
