We have had this honda 3 wheeler on our old farm for a few years and never cared about the year and model, but now the farm is gone and I just use it for recreation. I've been putting more interest into buying parts for it, but I don't know the exact year and model. I believe it is between the years of 1984 and 1986. It looks like a big red, but it has no reverse. I've looked all over for the id tag, but can't find that either. I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. I can post pictures too if you like. Anyway, thanks for the help and I look forward to getting more involved.

pictures would get you an instand ID for sure.

if it has Chain drive with High-Low and pre-84.. it could be a big red 200 E. in 84 they were 200 ES and shaft drive.

Could be a number ofmodels.

what colours are the stickers ?

somewhere the CC size should be stamped on the motor...like on my 125m its says (124cc..or something to that affect)

If it doesn't have reverse and you think it's in that "age bracket", I'd think 82-83 Big Red or a 200M with some racks from 84-85. Again... a pic would do wonders.... the year and VIN number would clinch it... both of these are on the right side of the steering stem. I'm guess ing the cc on your motor will be 192cc.

well, load them into your computer, remember the folder the pics are in....click on "post reply" instead of using the quick reply box on the bottom of this screen, then go to managa attachments, click browse and pick your pictures one at a time, and when they are done loading close the managa attachments box and then post your reply....if you cant do that, have someone host them for you....

Yeah, more then likely an 82-83 Big Red 200E from the sounds of it. Pictures will tell for sure.

I go through Valdosta pretty often...got a speeding ticket up there by the airbase not to long ago...:p

That my friend is a 1983 Honda ATC200E Big Red, I have the same trike, just not quite as good shape as yours.

Yup, pistonhead is correct. I've got an 82 and a few other parts machines. They are great trikes, hard as heck to kill. They will just keep on going. Yours is in fairly nice shape too, usually they are beat up really bad.

Thanks for the ID. This is a great machine. Starts every time like its brand new. More reliable than most cars. Thanks again for the help
