I bought the 84' about 4 months ago for $1300 and picked up the 85' for $1200 3-4 weeks ago. They are both in EXTREMELY nice shape. The guy bought the 85' new in 85' (In Utah, I have the title & receipt when he bought it) and said he had about 20 hrs. on it over the years. By the condtion it's not hard to believe. I asked him about the tool kit when I bought it (If it ws still there) and he never knew it was there under the seat. I was the first person to take it out since it was put there during assembly. Got the owners manual also still in the original bag.

Museum pieces for sure. What a find! Just so cool to find 20 year old machines in that shape. Kept that way they can only go up in value I would think.

wow! those are some extremely nice big reds! what is that box on the front of the 250? sorry if i offend you but, it really destroys its appearance. it would looks nicer if it had a paint job

The box was on the bike when I bought it. Yes, I agree it distracts from the looks but is extremely useful. It is held on by 2 bolts and clamps under the box. I will probably yank it off next weekend and try it without. It does give me a place to keep things and I have the ability to lock it for at least minimal security.
Thanks for all the compliments, I wish there were more bikes out there like these but it's getting harder and harder to find them........BUT they do exist!

Nooooo guys they look just fine in MY garage but thanks for asking.

The bikes are totally 150% original (except the box on the 85' & rear seat on the 84")
The plastic is the original factory they came with, so are the decals, paint ect. ect.
I really, really got lucky with both bikes but the 250es is my favorite.
Best $1200 I ever spent.
