Here is how far along I am so far. Rebuilt forks, new front tire, fresh paint, NOS Kerker pipe and silencer, vintage Dirt Works front fender and H-traks on 9" rims. It will be a full roller by next weekend and might be running by early April.
P.S. It is getting a NOS hondaline 300r kit too.

That is going to be a real sharp bike. Great job! Is it going to have a factory swingarm or aftermarket?

It's a roller now! Should have the motor together and in it by next weekend. Then all I need will be rear fenders and a seat cover and it will be finished.

I thought you had rear fenders? It's rare that I say this... ever... but the Maier ones on my 82R are nice, but they are a darker red than the Honda red. I do have an extra set of original rear fenders, but they've been crack repaired on the left fender. As far as a seat cover, go back to that guy we bought the tank cover's off from. He had a listing of tons of seat covers. Else, go to www.hi-flite.com and see what they have. I'm going to try to have my Desert/Safety seat mounted up while I'm off this week and next. I tried to call CEET last night, but Travis had just left. Looking good Todd!
Sounds like Holic's leaving the Red trikes at home this year... :naughty: Guess he doesn't want to see his R beat at the drags! :D

Bruce, i have a rear fender that is original and only has a little 1" crack but it is so badly scratched up that you would never be able to sand it out. Good to hear the Maiers fit good and thanks for the heads up on the seat covers. I got my tank cover today and it fits the plastic Clarke tank pretty well.

Looks good Todd, You had me fooled (pretty easy to do) in that first pic. I was looking at it going "Why in the hell does he have that box sitting under the frame?" Then I saw the next pic...and thought "AAAAAAAAHHHHH, now I see"
If you keep it up...Your not going to have any room in the trailer for you guys to sleep in! It will be full of Trikes and quads.

Looks great!! You should make the front rim match the rear.

no you should not! an old school racer would have mismatched rims. Dont "bling pimp" it! leave that to the younger guys.

The 300R is finished and made it to TF 05. It surprised everyone who saw it run or rode it. The mods are 300 kit, full Kerker exhaust, Protec intake and boost bottle, Boyessen reeds, 35mm carb and a K&N off the back. Enjoy.

That's what I was just thinking. Haven't heard that name in ages. Made me think of my old school Simpson full faced helmet for some reason.
