Hi
Is there a honda part number to get the right flywheel puller for an 85 Big Red??
I just got one from the dealer and it is the wrong one. I thought I might be able to figure out the part number before I go back since they don't seem to know what they are doing.
Thanks,

Are you sure its the wrong one? What is wrong about it? I have seen some people get pissed and think its the wrong one because they are trying to thread it in the usual way. The threads inthe flywheel are reverse. Meaning you turn the puller counter-clockwise to thread it into the flywheel. then you turn the bolt in the center of the puller clockwise to push against the crank.
Just thought you better make sure that its the wrong one first.

Thanks but I got it now.
I just checked the manual and it was in there.
Honda Part #07733-0020000 (can't find on service honda)
Honda Part #07933-3950000 (is on service honda)
K&N Part #82-0120
Now off to the dealer, again!

It's only half the size of what I need.
They gave me K&N part 82-100 instead of 82-120

Alright, Just thought I would throw that out there and give the dealers a chance at being right (mine have yet to be correct on something  )
Good luck.

Yeah they are usually good out here. I had a new girl serve me, maybe it was her.
I am looking forward to getting my motor back together too!
Hopefully they have the one I need in stock as they supposedly order this one for me
