1985 Tecate Kickstarter

I just bought a 1985 Tecate 3 wheeler and the kickstarter slips pretty bad .
What is the fix for this ? Is it just the spring ? I have not taken it apart yet I was wanting to get some info before I pull it apart. Also it has a 1986 front end on it . Will a 1985 radiator mount on the 86 front end ? Thank's

Mine slips too occassionaly. It happened on my old 84 and my 86. Not sure whats wrong with kicker.

The 85 Radiator will not mount to the 86 forks with out tapping new holes in the 86 triple or perhaps making some bracketry to go from the headlight mount holes on the 86 triple to the mounting tabs on the 85 radiator.

This one slips pretty bad . Pretty much most of the time .

Is it the Kicker Slippin on the Shaft, or is it the Shaft?
My Kicker Slipped on the Shaft a bit so I took it off and grinded the metal off the gap area with a Dremel. Slipped it on and Tightened it down. :w00t:
Slips only on full kicks every so often, and Tecates sux on full kicks anyhow.
