Well, I've been messing with this bike since late september. I bought the bike with original plans to make a nice trail rider. the bike needed all the Bearings replaced, a rear carrier, Brake pads, seat was shot, palstic was junk, and the rear axle is done for. Then I came across a TC dual plug highly modded engine, so the bike has took a different direction. The more I thought about it I finally decided I would build an old school TT bike. I have the only engine like this I know of, This should be a VERY rare bike.

Heres is what I started with, and heres a pic of the engine!

Well after the bike sat on my Jack for a month or two I finally got off my ***** and Stripped it. This was after my friend told me he could get my frame powdercoated for $10.

heres the Frame after tear down

AS time went on, I started picking up more "old school" parts.

Then after alot of trouble I picked up this number plate BRAND new from ScottZJ... thanks SCOTT!!!

Not sure if this seat cover is old school, but different and very unique. I picked it up off ebay. I'm goign for all white plastic, scoops, scoops, and red decals to match the seat.

I am watching a set of red ones on ebay. If I win them do you want to trade. Also, If you have an 85 axle you can use it on that bike. I am sure alot of people do not believe this but I have one on my 87 and ride every week end with no problems.

Great Project Tyler! Flip your number plate 180 degrees. It's upside down.

I have seen alot of people do that with the maier numberplate. That is a sweet project, Tyler How old are you? building that type of ride is for "us old guys" LOL. If you are younger than 30, Hats off to ya. Pretty cool to build a trike "right"

Hey guys .. thanks! I figured there would be alot of interest, I just wanted some good progress before i posted it.

JEB, I know the numberplate is wrong, I lost the screwes somewere in my garage, So I just zip tied it to the bars to geta good pic :w00t:

Louis, I'm not sure I got them from a friend, They are for a Dirt bike. I'll find out for you.

Holic, I just tunred 20, I have owned over 25 trikes in the past 3 years, 250R's, Tecates, Big Reds, 350Xs ETC. I've also built a few in my day so far ;). 86Waterpumper has been helping me with info to make it "right". I have a long way to go, send the motor to TC and get a piston made. Stil have to replace all the bearings, and do some painting and such. I need to get me a nice Lectron carb prolly 32MM. Wait til you guys see the exhaust I'm running :naughty: I envy you guys who have 86 TRI Z's, That is my fream bike. I missed out on one 3 hours away with enoguht extra parts to build another one for $800.. So I just bought me a 85 250R
