A little progress on my 86 250r

Went by my buddy Chris's house and snapped a couple of shots of my 86 250R. It isn't too far from being done. I will post some before and some after pictures.

Is the tank painted?

Is it white plastic? If its white plastic then drain the gas each time after you ride cause it will turn yellow.

If its painted: drain the gas because unless you did something special to it....it will bubble.

I love it man...thats the best looking color combo on a R I have seen!

It is a tank that was painted by a professional auto body guy. It has 4 coats of white for plastic automotive body finishes with an agent that will allow it to be somewhat flexable. It also has some coats of clear on it as well. It has been used by the guy I bought it from and he had no problems with the paint bubbling. I'll see and will be overly cautious. I need to get some new shiny white rear plastic.
