A true Hondaline 300R kit comes with a completely different jug and head. Count the bolts... 7 not 6, so you can't intermesh 300R jug with a 250R head and viseversa.
EDIT - Here's some pics of a 300R motor with the Hondaline Jug/Head

The 300R kit is still available from Honda with all of the overbores too. You can get it from PSP - http://www.powersportspro.com/partsfish/v2/displayfiche.asp
pull down the menu and click on 300R kit. You might have to register and log onto Partsfish though.

350x'inNY nailed it on the head. A couple of us have been after those parts for a while. I still don't have a piston and rings for my 300R kit. The search goes on.

... hmmm, they are usually pretty ok at updating their part numbers. Then again I should have known, I have been burned by them once or twice before on small parts.

Seems like one of the gaskets is still available.... mainly cause it's basically the same as the Odyessy

Here is a comparison of the 85 odyssey head gasket and the 300R gasket. The 300 gasket is the copper one. The base gasket is still available part#12191-961-306.

I'd love to take my 82 to TRIKEFEST. That would be sick.
