Very nice air!!
Yep, Darius is right. It came from a shootout article. Mickey Dunlap's Powroll 86 200X vs his 85 200X. DirtWheels October 86.
The other bike in the article belongs to Ron Fields. His folks own an ace hardware store here in town. He used to race locally back in the day & there was no one whold coud touch him. He would race the 250 class on that 200x & lap almost every one on the flat track that was around here. I don't think that he is around anymore but I know his brother Jason is. He was almost as fast!

Awesome shot JEB, you just made me realize I need to grab a 200X and start modifying it. The SX is nice to play around on but if I want some real suspension I need to grab an X and hop it up.

so sad that dirt wheels treats 3 wheelers like red-headed step children now.
Here's the main text of the article.
My favorite trike to ride is our '86 200x, and have long wanted to build up a nice race version. I have been looking for a calfab for it for years now, and have yet to see one for sale.
Didn't this engine exist for a bunch more years in some sort of quad? I can't believe powroll doesn't have mods for them anymore.
isn't this the same engine? http://www.powroll.com/P_HONDA_XR200.htm

xr200 engines pretty closely match the 85 and older 200x engines.
