hey guys
yesterday as i was gassing it round my paddock(on my atc 200s) white smoke started comming out of the exhaust,now its not clouds and clouds of it but it is quite a bit,i am basing the problem down to piston rings,u guys rekon the rings are stuffed to?

it could also be if you put too much oil in it, but if you havent rebuilt the motor in a while, its undoubtedly the rings, i would put a new piston kit in it and bore it....just to freshen her up a little :cool:

how much would that cost,as im in new zealand,and im a 14 yr old kid on low income:)

and its got a perfect amount of oil,could it be a fowled spark plug or something?

well, if it still runs good, and your only 14.....id say ride it until it starts running crappy and by then you will have a job and you can put a new piston/rings in it....

what colour is your spark plug? ....dose it only burn white on start up when its cold or dose it do it when its warm too??

ive got a job,but still paying my old man back for my other trike:)
well i got a set of replacement rings,and a new gasket set,so ill put them on and give them a shot :Bounce
