Hmm I see something you forgot to do on it. To hard to type in what you have to do to fix it. Ship it to me and I'll fix it right away!! It will only take me about six months and I'll get it right back to you. I'll even do it for free. :naughty:

Dammit!

How big is it? Hard to get an idea of scale by the pic. Big enough for a frame?

yeah big enough for a frame, its about 3 1/2(or 4)Lx 5 1/2W x 2 1/2H all give or take a few inches but definitly ok for a frame , or axle, or whatever. :w00t:

not to sound dumb, but what do you mean by an exaust? like, what is the purpose of it? Their is a square cut on the site that is about 2x3 so that the wires for the lights and the air hose can get through, is that ok or are we still missin something?

When you blow compressed air/sand in there,, the air has to go somewhere !!

Where did you get the gloves at? I've been wanting to build one but that part has held me back.

thanks redhead.=) yeah the air can go out the side of it, we used it last night and it was fine, but the gun is old and was acting up.

The gloves are from harbor freight, just the gloves, they were like latex coated with cloth around the top, and then johns dad sewed the sleeves up for us. But i've heard you can get the sleeves and gloves from harbor freight.

yup the hole should be big enough. i would put some kind of screen over the hole so that sand/beads don't rifle out of it.i have a 3" cut out hooked up to a exaust fan that is higher than the cabinet. this allows the sand to fall back in the box and not out the exaust fan.with beads the dust shouldn't be that bad but silica sand is terribly dusty.another tip use window peel off protectors on the inside of the viewing glass or you'll be replacing it allot.

oooh good idea, hadn't really crossed my mind, but i guess it's just like sitting down with sand paper and goin across the glass. =)

worse!! it pits the glass to the point that you can't see out of it.i have to change the clear protective film every 3-4 hours of blasting. that's with sand i never tried beads yet.

ok yeah we used glass beads last night and they didn't do anything to the glass, probably because they are a little heavier so they don't fly around nearly as much. But our gun was acting up so we didn't get much done. We are working on glass beading my whole engine.
