0k i just aquired an 81 250r in nice shape, has a bebuilt top end, but, the xhaust is the only realy bad thing, well all that there is the headpipe and weleded to that is a peice of 1 1/2 steel pipe held up by some custom brackets, and the headpipe has some holes in it but they have been weled up also, and i have to get that fixed so i am wondering is it really hard to find a complete exhaust sytsem or not, and will an exhaust off some sorta dirt bike fit and will a 82,83 or 84 exhaust fit on it and work properly?

81 and 82 are interchangable. I've got a spare aftermarket expansion chamber, and a stock silencer too. 83-84R pipes wont's fit due to the changes in the frame.

He doesn't have much to say usually worth the electrons and bandwidth wasted.... I like it better when he has computer problems. Anyhow... back to the thread!
Hope the info I typed helped you out. The silencer isn't as critical as fixing any leaks in your expansion chamber.

You can still get a brand new DG pipe and silencer for the 81-82s too.
