Tri-z Comp test...what should Comp Be??

hey,

Did a compression test on the '85 tri-z and it checked out to be 128 psi cold, now i have been told this is good and it will run, but i have also been told that it is low and wont........any one have any imput on this? :confused:

it should run easily enough, but you are due for a new top-end anytime...

i have 218 on my powervavled z, not sure on stock, i think 165

my 86 is right at 190, with a fresh bore last year, and my 85 1/2 is 170 and I dont know that specs on that motor.. never tore into it.

hmmm.....well hopefully i can get it running with this, then when i have more money after i get done with the frame and bearings ect, i can redo the top end....:)
